Edogawa Commemorative Garden 21st Anniversary
Twenty one years ago this September, the Edogawa Commemorative Garden, which is now part of the Gosford Regional Gallery complex in East Gosford, was officially opened.
A gift from the people of Edogawa in Japan, it has become the symbol of friendship and unity between Gosford and its sister city.
In recognition of this significant occasion, council is hosting a family day on Saturday 5 September in the Garden, to celebrate Japanese culture and the strong bonds of friendship and cultural exchange between our two cities.
Children’s craft activities and visits from characters of the Newcastle Cosplay Group will occur throughout the day.
Entry is free, but a small charge will be incurred for some of the day’s activities. Donations are always welcome.
